After completing her bachelor's at Politecnico di Torino and master's degree in Theory and Practice of Architectural Design at ETSAB Barcelona School of Architecture, Müge continued her academic studies with her second master’s degree in Architecture/Spatial Design at Politecnico di Milano where she graduated with honors. Her thesis proposal for the reconceptualization of human’s experience with the night sky in urban environments, was selected as the Special Mention of the “Best Graduates Award” from the Order of Architects of Milan. Throughout her academic career, she has pursued her internships at various disciplines as the innovation and design firm Carlo Ratti Associati, and Terraforma, an international music festival dedicated to artistic experimentation and sustainability. In parallel with Spazio—x, she continues to work as a freelance designer/architect for exhibition/interior design collaborations in Italy and Turkey.
Lorenzo graduated with a master’s degree in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis topic of a mixed-use proposal for an underused church in the field of sustainable and adaptive reuse. The thesis was awarded by The Volkswagen Foundation to be presented in “Reusing Churches - New Perspectives in a European Comparison” symposium in Hanover, Germany. During his academic career, he has pursued his internships with architecture firms such as Enrico Scaramellini Architetti for temporary social residence projects and participated in several international architecture workshops as MIAW in Milan. As a licensed architect, in parallel with Spazio—x he collaborates with a London-based practice for sustainable residential projects and he works as an independent professional in Italy, Turkey, and the UK.
